Nanoe™, a technology developed by Panasonic, is a new and innovative solution for healthy hair. The technology, used in a number of our hair dryers and straighteners, moisturises your hair and scalp, helping you achieve beautiful, healthy, and smooth hair.
What are Nanoe™ and how does Nanoe™ technology work?
Our Nanoe™ technology works by using a high voltage charge to capture invisible moisture in the air, generating nano-sized, electrostatic atomising water particles called Nanoe™, which are then jettisoned onto the hair.
Cooling the electrode causes moisture in the air to condense on the tip.
When a high voltage is applied, negatively charged water collects at the tip.
When a critical point is reached, water droplets rapidly disintegrate to become nano-sized particles (Nanoe) that fly off.
These ultrafine, invisible water particles contain 1,000 times more moisture than regular negative ions. Although many hair dryers use ionic technology that emits a negative charge to ions on your hair, breaking down water particles into smaller sizes, these are still too big to penetrate the hair cuticle efficiently. Nanoe™, on the other hand, are much smaller and can penetrate the openings in the hair cuticle directly, strengthening and moisturising from within.

A Nanoe™ refers to an electrostatic atomised water particle, which is about a billion times smaller than a steam particle, making it too small to see with the naked eye.
2. Contains 1,000 times the moisture
A Nanoe™ contains about 1,000 times more water than regular negative ions, so it delivers significantly more moisture.
3. Balances pH levels
Healthy hair is naturally somewhat acidic, which helps protect it and stop it from getting dry and frizzy; Nanoe™ are also slightly acidic, which helps ensure that your hair’s pH remains balanced.
