Orange Pomegranate Salmon
Salmon are rich in omega-3 fatty acid that contribute to healthy heart, support skin elasticity, and improve your brain health. Being packed in anti-inflammatory compound and vitamin C, pomegranate and citrus fruits are exceptionally good for you to boost your immunity.
Ingredients
- 800 gSalmon fillet
- 2 tbspOlive oil
- 1 noOrange, sliced
- Pinch of salt & pepper
For orange & pomegranate salsa:
- 1 noPomegranate
- 1 noOrange, coarsely chopped
- 1-2 nos Small red Onion, chopped (shallot)
- 1-2 pcs Jalapeno, minced
- 1-2 nos Lime, juice and zest
- Pinch of cumin powder
- Handful of Cilantro, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Steps
1) Place salmon onto Microwave Oven baking tray and drizzle olive oil on top. Season with salt and pepper and then lay some orange slices on top.
2) Place salmon into Microwave Oven and steam for 10 minutes.
3) For the orange and pomegranate salsa, mix all ingredients together and chilled in fridge.
4) Serve steamed salmon with orange and pomegranate salsa.
