Cinnamon Roll
Making a cinnamon roll by hand seems impossible! Just leave the difficult dough-making to the machine and the rest is easy! Add some of your favourite dried fruits as you roll the pasty for a treat that looks and tastes fantastic.

EN40 CHELSEA BUN
- 250 gStrong White Bread Flour
- 1 tspSugar
- 0.5 tspSalt
- 25 gButter
- 1Egg
- 1 tbspSkimmed Milk Powder
- 0.5 tspDry Yeast
- 100 mlWater
ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS
- 15 gButter
- 100 gMixed Dried Fruits
- 50 gSoft Brown Sugar
- 1 tspCinnamon
ICING
- 75 gIcing Sugar
- 3 tspMilk
- 1.5 tspLemon Juice
Steps
STEP 1
Knead the dough lightly and roll out to an oblong 26 cm x 20 cm (10" X 8").
STEP 2
Mix together the mixed dried fruit, soft brown sugar and mixed spice. Brush the dough with melted butter and spread the fruit mixture on top. Roll up from the long edge and cut into 8-10 slices. Arrange in a greased 23 cm (9") sandwich tin and allow to prove at 40°C/150°F until doubled in size (approx. 20 mins).
STEP 3
Bake in preheated oven at 220°C/425°F/Gas Mark 7 for 15 mins or until golden brown.
STEP 4
Allow to cool. Drizzle with glace icing.
