What is a Key Detector?
Additional accessory
Attach a Key Detector to an easy to lose item that is registered to a Panasonic Digital Cordless Phone. If you misplace the item, you can locate it by using the cordless handset. As you get closer to your lost item, the cordless handset sounds a notification.
Up to 4 Key Detectors can be registered to a Panasonic Digital Cordless Phone.
Detection
(up to 200 m / 650 feet)
Panasonic’s DECT technology makes it possible to detect items up to 200 m / 650 feet away from the handset. Even if the handset is out of range of the base unit, you can use the handset to search for the Key Detector.
* This range may be shorter when the Key Detector is near concrete barriers, etc.
Hear how close you are
Both the handset and the Key Detector will beep when searching for a misplaced item.
- Handset : The frequency of the detection beeping sound will increase signal strength and level value will be displayed on the handset LCD.
- Key Detector : The responding beeps are emitted
while searching for the misplaced item.
