Nano polished inner blades

The cutting edge of the inner blades is an acute 30° to enable them to cut the hair at its base for an incredibly close shave. Honed with nano level precision to be as sharp as possible, the blades are driven by a high-speed linear motor to maximize their cutting ability. As a result, they cut smoothly through the toughest beards.

The slightly arched blades come into close contact to ensure a clean shave under the chin where it is easy to miss whiskers.

Panasonic developed a linear motor specifically for its shavers to prevent power loss and missed whiskers, even for heavy beards. The rapid linear motor drive delivers a smooth, clean shave at 14,000 cycles per minute (cpm).

Wet/Dry Cordless Operation provides a comfortable shave. Enjoy the convenience of dry operation or use with foam or gel for a pampering, silky-smooth shave.

Sonic vibration cleaning mode

The sonic vibration cleaning mode generates high-speed micro-vibrations that provide an easy way to thoroughly clean the shaver. The vibrations are fast and tiny at 17,000 strokes/minute, so there is minimal splashing of water while beard clippings and sebum are removed from the inner blades.

Note: The sonic vibration cleaning mode can be activated by continuously pressing the main switch for about 2 seconds.
