Biography
At the age of 10, his mother handed him a disposable film camera on a family trip to Disney World. “You can take pictures of anything you like, but don't get the sun in the images.”
So you know what he did.
Edward Moffat is a Visual Artist living in Brampton. He does commercial photography and videography. Fashion and various forms of portraiture work have taken him coast to coast in Canada. He has been published in Canada, the US and Mexico.
Edward also runs MoffatCreative.ca, a full-service boutique photography and videography studio. Clients have included individual doctors and lawyers, through to the Federal Government, RBC, Hitachi, The IT Media Group and Panasonic Canada. From helping models build their portfolios to exploring the beauty of the Canadian shield, he enjoys a variety of shooting styles. Edward was formerly on the Board of Directors at Beaux-Arts Brampton. He taught Portraiture, and Videography For Photographers in Humber College's Photographic Techniques program, and teaches photography and lighting classes privately in his studio.
