Panasonic Launches New Easy to Handle Digital Cordless Telephone with Outstanding Performance and Accessibility Features

Mallorca, Spain (13 February 2018) – Panasonic has today announced a new addition to its leading range of Digital Cordless Telephones (DECT). The KX-TGE510 includes a host of features perfect for those who may benefit from enhanced functions such as amplified volumes, larger keys, an easy-to-read display and automatic connection to important contacts. The handset also boasts exceptional sound quality and its compact design is a perfect addition to any home.

Superior Sound Quality and Greater Volume
The KX-TGE510 boasts remarkably clear sound and users are able to amplify the call volume by up to four times the amount of standard Panasonic DECT phones by pressing the Amplify Key on the side of the handset without interrupting a call.

Easy to Read Display and Keys
The KX-TGE510 benefits from a 1.8 inch (4.6cm) white backlight display ensuring numbers are easy to read, whilst the oversized buttons feature large characters and talking keys for confirmation of numbers pressed to enable effortless operation.

The new model also features a selectable Smart Ringer, which automatically switches the ringer volume to maximum when the handset receives a call in a noisy environment, making sure all incoming calls are heard. In addition, the KX-TGE510 also includes a Large Ringer Indicator which helps those who are hard of hearing to visually check incoming calls with ease.

Reliable and Resistant in all Situations
In times of serious difficulty, users can press and hold the distress call key to automatically call a registered contact. Up to four contacts can be registered, and if the first contact is unavailable, the next contact is automatically dialled. In the rare case that all four contacts are unavailable, the phone redials them again up to four times, starting with the first contact, which increases the possibility that one of the contacts will be reached.

The handset has also successfully cleared the drop/shock test standard (MIL-STD-810G, 516.6) and can withstand drops from a height of 1.2 metres with minimal damage.

Packed with Features
The new KX-TGE510 handset includes a host of other features, including:
• Nuisance call block with dedicated key
• Eco Plus mode – one touch of a button completely stops radio wave transmission while the unit is in standby mode
• HAC (Hearing Aid Compatibility) Support (ETS 300 381 Compliant)
• Full Duplex Speakerphone on Handset
• Phonebook with 150 entries
• Up to 17.5 hours of talk time
• Up to 330 Hours of standby time
