Easy Wi-Fi^® Connection to Your Smartphone

You can easily connect the camera to your smartphone / tablet by displaying the QR code on the camera screen and using the "Panasonic Image App" on the smartphone / tablet to scan the QR code. Setting-up is extremely easy and finishes within a few seconds. A wireless connection between the camera and the smartphone / tablet lets you use a variety of Wi-Fi^® functions, such as Remote Shooting, Instant Transfer, and Geotagging.

Full-HD Video Recording in MP4 Format

This camera is capable of recording 1920 x 1080 full-HD video in MP4*. Alternately, you can choose MP4 at 30p (for NTSC area) / 25p (for PAL area) for video recording, which has higher compatibility with PCs. A special separate button lets you instantly start recording videos while shooting photos without having to make any extra settings.

16-megapixel High Sensitivity MOS Sensor

The image processing by the 16-megapixel High Sensitivity MOS Sensor and the imaging engine excels not only in picture quality but also in its processing speed. The excellent S/N ratio of the MOS sensor and the noise reduction system ensure clear images in both photo and video when shot at any sensitivity, whether high or low.

POWER O.I.S.
(Optical Image Stabilizer)

The POWER O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabiliser) is able to minimise blur even when using a powerful zoom and the Active Mode effectively suppresses hand vibration in video recording.

Burst Shooting 10 fps

The high speed digital signal output technology lets you shoot at 10 fps in high speed burst mode with mechanical shutter, and burst shooting with flash is also available.

Unique Filter Effects for Photos and Videos

With a variety of filter effects, Creative Control lets you add artistic and original expression to photos and videos. Creative Panorama function allows you to create dynamic vertical / horizontal panoramic photo with a unique touch just by swiveling the camera.

Easy Share
You can instantly upload and share your images on SNS using the "Panasonic Image App" on a smartphone / tablet.
Also, a new Photo Collage function has been added to the app to allow several images to be combined into a single image and shared.

Geotagging
You can tag the location information to the image by utilizing the GPS log of a smartphone / tablet and share it to the preferred SNS.

Wireless Image Transfer

Instant Transfer
The Instant Transfer function allows you to transfer the photo data to the designated electronic devices automatically whenever shutter is released. In playback mode, you can also touch the image displayed on the camera to transfer it directly to the smartphone / tablet right on the spot.

Auto Transfer
Images are transferred on your camera to a computer or other compliant devices while charging the battery via the wireless access point at home.

Extended Battery Life

Approx. 350 pictures (TBD) can be taken on a single charge with 1250mAh large capacity.

iA (Intelligent Auto) Mode

In the iA (Intelligent Auto) Mode, the camera does all the work, leaving you free to compose your shot and capture the moment. You just press, aim and shoot. The detection and correction functions go to work to give you beautiful photos and videos* with maximum ease.
