Add Your Unit to Comfort Cloud App for Commercial WLAN Adaptor

Connect your new air conditioner to the Panasonic Comfort Cloud App via the commercial WLAN adaptor CZ-CAPWFC1 for improved control and monitoring of your air conditioner units across multiple business locations.

1.0 Add Your Unit (Commercial WLAN Adaptor CZ-CAPWFC1)

The following steps are to set up the connection between a Wi-Fi compatible air conditioner equipped with the WLAN adaptor, CZ-CAPWFC1 and the Comfort Cloud App, with the options of using your Wireless LAN router password or without a password.

1.1 Connect with Wireless LAN Router Password

Before you begin, make sure you have a 2.4GHz Wireless LAN router with internet connection.

Step 1
Tap the “+” icon.

Step 2
Choose “Commercial air conditioner”.

Step 3
Choose “WLAN Adaptor”.

Step 4
Check if the “POWER LED” on the WLAN adaptor is “ON”. Tap “Next”.

*The “POWER LED” is “ON” when its LED is continuously lit but not blinking.

Step 5
Select option that matches with status of “LINK LED”.

Since the air conditioner is a new unit, the LED should be OFF/blinking.

Tap “LED is OFF/blinking”.

Step 6
1. Press and hold the “SETUP” button for 10 seconds.

2. Release the “SETUP” button when the “LINK LED” blinks twice.

3. Tap “Next” when the “LINK LED” starts to blink continuously.

Step 7
Allow the app to access your precise location while using the app.

*Pop-up design may vary depending on the OS version and/or smartphone/tablet model.

It should connect automatically without password.

Step 9
The unit will connect to the same wireless connection as your smartphone/tablet.

Enter the Wireless LAN router password and tap “OK”.

Step 10
Connection is successful when “LINK LED” is “ON”. Then tap “Next”.

*Solid colour (not blinking) means "ON". LED light colour may vary depending on your model.

Step 11
Please wait while the app is searching for the air conditioner.

Step 12
Select the air conditioner for registration and tap “Register”.

Step 13
Press “SETUP” and tap “Next”.

Step 14
Your air conditioner is connecting to the network.

*This may take a few minutes. Please wait.

Step 15
Create password and then tap “Register”.

*As the first user, you need to create a new password for the air conditioner. This password will be required when adding an additional user.

Step 16
Set air conditioner name and then tap “Register”.

1.2 Connect without Wireless LAN Router Password

Before you begin, make sure you have a 2.4GHz Wireless LAN router with internet connection.

Step 1
Tap the “+” icon.

Step 2
Choose “Commercial air conditioner”.

Step 3
Choose “WLAN Adaptor”.

Step 4
Check if the “POWER LED” on the WLAN adaptor is “ON”. Tap “Next”.

*The “POWER LED” is “ON” when its LED is continuously lit but not blinking.

Step 5
If unable to connect with password, tap “Click here to connect without entering a password”.

Step 6
Press the WPS button on the router and then tap “Next”.

Step 7
1. Press and hold the “SETUP” button for 5 seconds.

2. Release the “SETUP” button when the “LINK LED” blinks once.

3. Tap “Next” when the “LINK LED” starts to blink continuously.

Step 8
Connection is successful when “LINK LED” is “ON”. Then, tap “Next”.
