Quick and Easy Energy-Saving
via Control Systems
While it is important to choose an efficient AC unit, it is important to operate the units in ways that will reduce utility costs and save power. Panasonic’s control systems enable effortless energy-saving.
Set Temperature Auto Return
Set temperature auto-return function to automatically return temperatures to pre-set levels after a pre-determined amount of time. Auto-return times can be set in 10-minute increments (up to 240 minutes)
For example…
If an employee has lowered the temperature below the recommended level, the auto-return function kicks in to prevent overcooling and energy waste.
Set Temperature Range limit
Pre-determine minimum and maximum temperatures to avoid excessive heating or cooling.
Temperature range: Cooling/Dry:18~30℃ Heating:16~30℃
*min/max temperatures differ by product model.
For example...
Restrict the range in which temperatures can be set during summer months to 25 - 30°C to prevent the excessive lowering of temperatures by employees.
Unattended Auto Shutoff
Shut down AC units at a pre-set time. If an employee turns the unit on manually, it will turn off automatically after a pre-determined amount of time.
Auto-shut down after manually operations can be set in 10-minute increments (up to 180 minutes)
For example…
The AC units in a store should turn off at 9pm when the store closes. Set auto shut-off to prevent waste caused by AC units being left on by an employee after hours.
Repeat Off Timer
Set the unit to shut down automatically after a pre-determined amount of time.
For example…
Set the AC unit in the warehouse to automatically shut off after 60 minutes, as it is never used for more than 60 minutes each time.
Energy Saving Timer
Control energy consumption during certain hours of the day.
Reduce basic electricity fees by curbing the amount of electricity used during peak hours.
