Raised in Arizona, Cusi Taylor grew up appreciating the magnificent sunsets, stark landscape and abundance of life of the Sonoran and Mojave Deserts. A dyed-in-the-wool technogeek, she was thrilled to get her first camera as a gift in elementary school. She has been fascinated by the the magic and the science of photography ever since. Cusi’s professional career began in technology, and after many years climbing the corporate ladder, she transitioned to work in photography full time. Together with her partner, Nicholas, she owns and operates a rental studio in Phoenix AZ, teaches photography and creative editing techniques, leads a nationwide photography group, and conducts travel workshops all over the American Southwest. Cusi is also a licensed pilot and holds two degrees from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
