Corn Flakes Baked Fried Chicken
At your next gathering, make some of our baked cornflake fried chicken with the Healthy Fry option for delicious flavour and minimal use of oil. It’s a good idea to make more than you think you’ll need, as these are sure to be a crowd favourite!
Ingredients
- Drumstick and Thigh 4 Pieces
- Buttermilk 100 g
- Rosemary 1 Stalk
- Cake flour/All purpose flour 5 Tbsp
- Smoked paprika 2 Tbsp
- Garlic powder 2 Tsp
- Egg (beaten) 2 Pieces
- Cornflakes 5 Tbsp
- Parmesan cheese powder 1 Tbsp
- Dried parsley 1 Tbsp
Steps
STEP 1
Marinate chicken thigh overnight with Buttermilk and 1 stack of Rosemary.
STEP 2
Make the batter by mixing the cake flour, smoked paprika and garlic powder.
STEP 3
Make the coating by mixing the crushed cornflakes, dried parsley and parmesan cheese powder.
STEP 4
Preheat 4-in-1 Combi Steam Microwave Oven NN-CS89LB with "Combi 9" setting.
STEP 5
Pat dry chicken, coat chicken with cake flour, egg and cornflakes.
STEP 6
Use "Combi 9" setting and cook for 2 mins.
