Turn your Leftovers into Nextovers to save more than just money
Every year in the UK, we waste a massive 4.5 million tonnes of edible food which adds up to fill 38 million large wheelie bins, 3,600 Olympic-sized swimming pools or 8 Wembley stadiums each year. We’re not talking about the bits we can’t eat like banana skins and apple cores, but five million tonnes of perfectly good food that could have landed in our stomachs rather than the bin.
To combat this issue, we're supporting the Love Food Hate Waste campaign run by the international climate action charity, WRAP, that aims to raise awareness of the need to reduce food waste.

So how can we help?
Sure you’ve heard of leftovers, but what about nextovers, the latest food movement to hit our kitchens? The idea is straightforward: instead of putting any uneaten food into the bin, turn your leftovers from yesterday into new meals for today.
Why? Simply put, it can play a crucial part in helping us reduce the amount of food we throw away each day.
You could help save the environment
From planning portions to looking at how you cook your food, there are simple steps you can take to make sure you’re doing your bit to help, including using your microwave to show your leftovers some love. Yes, it really is that simple!
