At Panasonic, we continue to spearhead innovation to completely transform the production process for broadcasters and directors, focusing on optimum image quality, ease-of-use and cost-effectiveness.”

The AG-CX350 4K Camcorder

The AG-CX350 camcorder spearheads the series, and is the first camcorder in the industry to provide NDI | HX connectivity1. This ensures smooth video transmission and camera control over IP for live events and web distribution, and means the camera can be built in to larger systems working alongside Panasonic PTZ camera systems equipped with NDI|HX and the Panasonic Live Production Center (AV-HLC100).

The camera features a wide-angle of 24.5mm, with a high powered optical 20x zoom lens and a new high-definition, high sensitivity 1.0-type 4K MOS sensor to enable 10-bit image quality and 4K (UHD) or FHD resolution recording at up to 50/60p, on to SDXC card. It also features a HLG2 gamma mode to support HDR image production.

Featuring a high brightness, high definition LCD, the camera provides SDI/HDMI parallel outputs for enhanced operation and usability. Weighing just 1.9kg, it has the added benefits of compact size and low power consumption.

A new, high-efficiency HEVC codec (LongGOP, 10-bit, 4:2:0/MOV) enables3 smooth playback and editing with a notebook PC or MacBook.

In addition, the camera supports a streaming function for Facebook and YouTube live with compatible RTSP and RTMP protocols. The camera will also support the MXF P2 file format futureproofing it for potential broadcasting applications4, enabling AVC-Intra and AVC-LongG.

AW-UE150 – the industry’s first 4K 50p HDR integrated PTZ camera
This next-generation PTZ camera supports high-quality video production in stadium, lecture halls and other venues. Smooth and high-quality 4K 60p/50p, 20x optical zoom and 32x intelligent zoom (in HD mode), and a wide shooting angle of 75.1 degrees horizontally expand the range of the PTZ camera's applications. The camera is equipped with a variety of interfaces and supports simultaneous 4K/HD operation which allows for versatility in current and future production systems. The camera allows up to three Full HD crops from the single 4K image canvas, which offers greater flexibility and, alongside its compact size, makes it ideal for more challenging camera locations. Other features include a 1-type MOS sensor, large size tally, various optical stabilizers and New Web UI support.

AW-UE-70: 4K Integrated Camera for Versatile Application
Despite its compact size, the AW-UE70 integrated remote camera is able to deliver 4K images with excellent zoom range and exceptional pan-tilt performance. This camera includes a variety of advanced and intelligent features, like in-camera 4K recording or 4K streaming over IP. The AW-UE70 remote camera is ready for the new demands of the industry through ultra HD resolution imagery. 4K images can be obtained in a variety of outputs including HDMI, USB and LAN. Besides its 4K capability, this camera performs extremely well in HD, also supporting 1080/50p format and 3G-SDI output. Other key features include: Optical zoom 20x, extendable by iA zoom (22x in 4K / 30x in HD) & 1/2.3-type MOS sensor; High Dynamic Range function (HDR), suitable for backlit condition; A Single Cable Solution for Remote Video and Audio Capture; and Supports PoE+ (Power over Ethernet+) for lower installation costs.

Intuitive Camera Control with the AW-RP150
Featuring a large LCD screen for monitoring and menu settings, the AW-RP150 offers great usability and is single-hand operable with a joystick in addition to traditional two hand operation that manages all control operations. It adds an SDI input to the LCD panel for control monitoring, and is capable of supporting up to 200 cameras in 20 groups.

1 The industry's first as a camcorder. As of January 2019 (according to a Panasonic survey). For use, an activation key code supplied by NewTek Company is required. NDI stands for "Network Device Interface" technology from NewTek Company.
2 HLG is a standard jointly developed by NHK of Japan and BBC of the United Kingdom. It is standardized in ARIB STD-B67 or ITU Rec.2100.
3 Playback is possible for signals that are native decoded by hardware acceleration from a computer installed with a 7th generation or later Intel Core i7 chip. Depending on the system environment, such as internal storage and memory, playback may not proceed smoothly.
4 Future firmware version upgrade for recording onto microP2 cards.
