TEAM Columbia Vidaraid
In the latest GODZone event Team Columbia Vidaraid completed the entire race wearing the wearable camera HX-A1. We conducted an on-the-spot interview of the athletes immediately after they completed the race to find out their impressions from using the camera.
An adventure race is a race in which the competitors rush non-stop over a
vast route, including mountains, that is unknown to them using mountain
bikes, kayaks, etc. and relying on a map and compass for navigation.
The HX-A1 can take photos in all of the environments in the races,
so it’ s an amazing camera.
If you use accessories with the camera, photography is possible under a
variety of conditions! During the race you can attach it to your helmet,
when you are riding your mountain bike you can attach it to your handlebar
without any worries, because it is highly shock-resistant.
The camera is small and light so I could concentrate on the race without
being bothered by the fact that I was wearing it. Also, it is waterproofed,
so I could take pictures with it without any worries in an adventure race in
which there are many situations in which I go underwater.
