Heating & Ventilation A/C Company was born of the fusion of a business division and a company with different backgrounds—the Heating and Cooling Solutions Business Division, formerly Matsushita Electric Housewares Manufacturing Works, and Panasonic Ecology Systems Co., Ltd., formerly Kawakita Denki Kigyosha.

There is a corporate development chart which shows the history until Heating & Ventilation AC Company, Panasonic Corporation was established in 2022, while showing Kawakita Denki Kigyosha being established in 1909, followed by Matsushita Electric Housewares Manufacturing Works established in 1918, and SANYO Electric Co., Ltd. established in 1947 being built into one.
