Fav Call Key (Favourites Key)
As they get older, people worry about complex settings and operations involved in new technology, which makes it hard to enjoy the simpler things in life, such as communicating with their own family.
This phone comes with a Fav Call key to make it quick and easy to contact loved ones you talk to frequently. You can register up to three phone numbers to the Fav Call key, which features intuitive operations for the following situations.
Incoming calls:
When you receive a call from one of up to three people pre-registered as a favourite, the Fav Call key flashes to notify you of the incoming call. The operation is intuitive - just press the flashing Fav Call key and answer the call with peace of mind.
Missed calls:
The Fav Call key also flashes slowly if you missed a call from a person registered in Fav Call. You can easily call them back by pressing the Fav Call key, just as you would when making an outgoing call.
Outgoing calls:
You can easily call the people you frequently talk to by registering them in Fav Call, and then pressing the Fav Call key.
Easy to See and Use
The KX-TGU series handset features a large display for easy-to-read characters and large, backlit keys to prevent accidental presses. It is designed for ease of use while maintaining an optimal size that can be comfortably held.

The displayed character of the KX-TGU4 series is bigger and easier to read, thanks to a 2.1" (5.3 cm) display which is the largest among current Panasonic line-ups.

The handset receiver has an "Amplify" feature that makes the receiver's volume about 4 to 8 times* louder than the standard Panasonic DECT telephones.

Dedicated Volume Control Keys (KX-TGU4 series only)
Dedicated volume control keys on the side of the handset allow you to adjust the volume to the optimum level while continuing to talk.
Equalizer
The sound volume of each frequency band can be adjusted. You can improve listening quality by selecting from three different types of sound to adjust the sound of the other party's voice.
Hearing Aid Compatibility
This handset is designed to work well with a hearing aid, which reduces interference with your hearing aid.
Enhanced Receiver Volume
The maximum receiver volume of the KX-TGU1 series is around twice as loud as the standard Panasonic DECT telephones.

Peace of Mind - Torch (Flashlight)
When a power outage occurs, it isn't easy to locate a torch right away, which may make you hesitate to take an action. Having one by the bedside or at least in a known spot such as on a charging cradle would come in handy.
Feel safe at night (KX-TGU4 series only)
The handset is equipped with a torch (flashlight), which softly illuminates the surrounding area, encouraging taking action calmly even in the night or during a sudden power outage.
Block Unwanted Calls
Are you annoyed by endless telemarketing and nuisance calls and frustrated that they waste your time? This phone allows you to block those callers with ease.

Block Automated Calls
Effortlessly free yourself from annoying automated calls. Automated Call Block function recognises and screens automated calls to stop them from being put through to your phone.

Block Calls from Listed Numbers
Keep your fun time from being interrupted by nuisance calls. Nuisance Call Block feature allows you input and block phone number prefixes to stop all nuisance calls with matching prefixes such as from telemarketers and prefixes of free phone numbers.
Dedicated Call Block Button
Register the unwanted number easily and surely. The current number can be easily registered to the call block list by pressing the dedicated Call Block key while the phone is ringing or during the call.
