The lightweight, compact high-speed telephoto lens is just
right for handheld photography. 200mm (35mm camera
equivalent: 400mm) telephoto capability and F2.8
brightness give you the distance and speed you need to
capture birds and other animals and take great sports
shots as well.
The included 1.4x teleconverter* boosts focal length to
280mm (35mm camera equivalent: 560mm). Switches are
designed to make focusing smooth, while the
weatherproof body helps keep you ready in all
environments.
* The 1.4x teleconverter (DMW-TC14) is also sold separately as an
optional accessory.

splash/dust/freezeproof LUMIX cameras. Splash Proof is a term used

exposure to a minimal amount of moisture, water or dust. Splash Proof
does not guarantee that damage will not occur if this lens is subjected
to direct contact with water.

The DMW-TC14 enables capturing distant subject up close. This extends the focal length from 200mm to 280mm (35mm camera equivalent: 400mm to 560mm) by just attaching it to the rear of the lens.
2.0x Tele Converter

The DMW-TC20 extends the focal length from 200mm to 400mm (35mm camera equivalent: 400mm to 800mm) by just attaching it to the rear of the lens. For a full-frame model, the tripod requires an 800mm focal length, but this combination enables easy handheld shooting.
