What
a great day it was yesterday for the
U.S. team, in swimming and men's gymnastics.
Yesterday, history was made as two
world records and three Olympic records
were broken in the swimming competitions.
In the women's four-by-200 freestyle
relay, the United States broke an
almost 17-year record by almost two
seconds. It was quite exciting! Both
the men's and women's swim teams are
doing great! In Gymnastics, current
world champion Paul Hamm won the Olympic
All-Around title, the first for the
USA in 100 years!
Today
we're going to see a lot of action
in the pool. Michael Phelps is going
for his 4th gold medal in the 200
individual medley.
Well,
I'm off to the Aquatic Center. We've
got three more days of swimming competition
and a lot more that I'll be reporting.
