American Cancer Society: Cancer Awareness Day
Since 2007 Panasonic has sponsored a corporate wide "Panasonic Cancer Awareness Day" for employees in support of the American Cancer Society (ACS).
Employees are invited to make donations in honor of friends and family whose names are then displayed in the cafeteria at Panasonic headquarters in Secaucus, NJ. Employees are able to purchase a "Panasonic - Together We Can Make a Difference" t-shirt or sweatshirt and "Ribbon Cookies." Donors are also entitled to wear jeans to work that day. 100% of all proceeds go to the ACS. Employees have raised over $10,000 to benefit the American Cancer Society.
