The LEICA DG SUMMILUX 15 mm / F1.7 ASPH. allows you to capture supreme snapshots with beautiful defocus features produced by F1.7 high speed. Certified with the name of world-renowned LEICA, exceptionally high image quality is guaranteed. The new lens system is comprised of 9 elements in 7 groups with 3 aspherical lenses, which suppress spherical aberration and distortion, in a very compact lens unit.

High-Precision, High-Speed AF

Incorporating a stepping motor makes the focusing action of this lens capable of smooth, silent operation for both photo and video recording. Compared to Phase Difference AF, Contrast AF boasts higher accuracy especially when shooting with a bright lens that has a small F value. This lens takes full advantage of the camera's high-speed AF.

Aperture Ring Control / Metal Finish Design

The aperture ring allows for easy, intuitive operation.

Nano Surface Coating
